Read most tried Wedding Hair Trends this year-
Besides a bride’s dress, if there is any other element that a bride wants to get right for her wedding day, it is her hair. And while we are sure that you will do everything you can to make sure that happens, there are some additional options that have been thrown into the mix this year. So, let’s talk wedding hair trends. Just like most things in life, there is always someone out there trying to come up with the next best hair style or at least a new take on an old style. Whichever may be the case, the styles catch on and everyone must find themselves in at least one of them. Who knows, you may fall in love with one of these styles, but at least you will be able to walk away with confidence that you are in the know and not in the dark about what the possibilities are. Remember, knowledge is power and this is where it begins, at least in terms of hair. So, here we go, you never know, you might find yourself thanking us that you were made aware of one or more of these trends
The key to what a bride to be wants in terms of their hair is knowing what will work and being satisfied with the look. To be honest, there are a lot of brides who truly do not have a clue about what they want to do with their hair for their wedding day. And that is alright, there is nothing wrong with that. You need to be made aware of the possibilities. In recent years, one of the most popular styles that many brides have opted for is what we like to call the sleek updo. This is usually an option chosen by women who have a ton of hair. It works like this. The hair is blown out straight, straightened with an iron and then sculpted into a very tight bun or updo. The updo can be braided in any number of configurations and what brides really love about this style is the fact that the the hair won’t move at all once it is in place. This means that the hair will remain looking gorgeous throughout the ceremony and reception until you are ready to take it down.
Another trend that seems to be sweeping the bridal arena is wearing styles that reflect the bride’s origin. For instance, women in the south have traditionally wore their hair bigger and they have started to incorporate this into their weddings as well. What is really nice about this trend is that the bride gets to pay homage to where they grew up.
Many brides are concerned about the question of whether to wear their hair completely up or completely down. Why worry when you can do both? One of the hottest wedding styles right now is something called half up, half down. How this is implemented is up to you, but within this parameter you can be as creative as you want to be. Or you can go for a simple look. Some brides opt for elaborate and complex weaving to make this look happen. Others choose to wear curls near the both under the veil. The opposite is also an option if you feel like straight on the bottom and a flashy elaborate top would suit you better.
So, far everything we have talked about has been related to the top or the bottom of your hair. There is another trend that calls for brides to wear their hair to the side. This is definitely a unique look and makes the bride look elegant, sophisticated and like a model. The hair can be held by barrettes or hair pins or a combination of the two. Keep in mind that this kind of style does not necessarily look good on anyone so you need to talk to a professional hair stylist about what your hair and face will support before you make any final decisions on a style.
We haven’t mentioned hair pieces or extensions, but this trend has come on very strong in recent years. Let’s face it, many women want a fuller look and more hair to work with. The more the hair, the better the pictures usually turn out so this can be a very nice option indeed. And it will ensure that you never have a bad hair day. And we would be remiss if we didn’t mention brides that are choosing to wear more than one style on their big day. You may have never thought of this option but more and more women are executing it to perfection. They accomplish this by having their chosen hairstylist stay with them and after the ceremony, they do the big change up. In the end, it all comes down to what style you feel the most beautiful in. We hope we have at least given you a few things to think about in terms of a style you might like to try.
