At the time of her death, Mark Grimmie’s sister, Christina, was already done with her concert performance. Then, she was getting together with her fans and signing autographs, when the gunman ended the concert with pain and fear.
However, Marcus Grimmie’s bravery wouldn’t let him kill more people, as he (Marcus) tackled and held him (Kevin) on the ground until he got a chance to free himself and shot himself in the head. He was declared dead at sight, and good riddance!
Commending his courageous act at a news conference, in subsequent days, Orlando Police Department Chief John Mina said Marcus’ actions were “heroic.”
