After his contract with WHO-TV was discharged, he landed a job offer at Cincinnati CBS affiliate, WKRC-TV Local 12, where he worked as a 5, 5:30, 6, and 11 pm meteorologist.
During his years at WKRC-TV Local 12, Tim Hedrick was the chief meteorologist, who oversaw the effective running of the weather department.
