By showering, any excess formula will be rinsed off and you will be left with what has soaked into the skin.
There are some things that you can do in order to be prepared for your application day and your wedding day. It is a very good idea for you to start exfoliating at least two times per week in the months leading up to your big day. Make sure that you use an oil-based exfoliant. By doing this, you are getting rid of the dead skin cells and your tan will look even and fresh. The only thing that you will want to make sure of is to not apply any lotion on the day of your spray tan application.
Picking the bronze shade that would be best for you involves a few different factors. First of all, you need to consider the shade you are already. Have you been spending many days at the beach over the past few months? If so, then you are obviously already going to be darker than you normally are. Also, have a talk with the staff about the spray tan formula they use. Make sure that it has a green undertone because that will help eliminate any potential chance of you looking orange after your application. After the application, there are a few things that you can do in order to enhance your tan. Applying a really high quality lotion goes a long way to making your look your absolute best. There are dry oils out there that will give your skin and tone a shimmer which will look very sexy. It will act as a highlighter and will help define your muscles which will make you look absolutely stunning for the camera which keep in mind will be pointing at you several times during your special day. If you want your tan to remain for several days after application, you can use what is called a gradual moisturizer.
